The Power of Purpose

Our History

Persian American Women’s Conference (PAWC) is a nonprofit solely volunteer-based organization in Los Angeles. PAWC focuses on providing a collaborative forum, through which we explore, inspire, and unconditionally support all women. Learning to find our voice as a group has been impactful a journey that we have embarked upon not too long ago. We are proud to have empowered many young women by providing them with academic scholarships, internships, and mentorships. Our supportive networks address challenges faced by women of all ages and all walks of life, enabling them to start a new chapter in their lives. Our annual conferences are highly populated; as we center on exemplifying female leaders and public figures who have shattered long-standing barriers.

What Drives Us

Our Mission

PAWC is a nonprofit, volunteer-based organization with the mission to inspire, empower, and provide unconditional support to women. We believe working toward this betterment will establish a virtuous cycle that will mend the community at large, not just its women.
