ABOUT KATHY

Mrs. Kathy Afshani has a baccalaureate degree in Business and Merchandising.  She followed her education by obtaining her Masters in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy, graduating Summa Cum Laude.  As a member of the founding committee of The Persian American Women’s Conference, she has been instrumental in planning and executing annual conferences, while serving as Chief Financial Officer for the past 6 years.  Mrs. Afshani’s philanthropic work includes serving as Vice President of the Iranian American Jewish Federation, as well as serving on the Malka Hadassah board. Last year, she was tapped by the WZO to help with the election in California. She lives with her husband and children in Los Angeles, California.
